We had to keep quiet about it until the end... outside of a small group of us. But one of our members insisted on all of us being outed to everyone at the end.

He really does deserve the recognition, too. I don't think I could have done even half as well as he did.

But I did notice he doesn't like to open up. He's a lot closer to my partner, but I still consider him my friend. It made my really happy they could rely on each other.

Oh, nah. I never took it personal at all. I have plenty of my own things I don't want to talk about. I just wanted him to know I was there in case he needed anything.

Sholmes... He's someone I met in this situation. If you had told me I'd meet someone like that at the beginning, I would have laughed.

It all happened so fast and it was an extremely strange situation, but now I can't imagine not having him in my life.

[ He's dumb, he'll talk about it to a certain degree, of course. He does love Sholmes, after all.

He nods at the other part. He truly does feel that way. Just glad Nero and Sholmes weren't alone in friendship. ]

It really depends on who you ask... But to me? There's no one else like him.

He can be extremely rude and seemingly careless in his actions. Flippant? And he seems to enjoy pushing people's buttons, but... He has a very honest heart if you get below that. It's not easy and he doesn't really let anyone in. But I think that's what makes it so special when he does.

Once I saw that, I couldn't leave him alone.

Sometimes you end up in a situation where you end up bonding in the most unexpected ways... I didn't get the details, but I know they got a lot closer after Sholmes had been condemned about wanting to help.

It wasn't a great situation. Miscommunication and misunderstandings. Sholmes might have done some things wrong, but his heart was in the right place.

[ He sighs deeply over that. It sucked. ]
